GOAT + Ducks Makes For Interesting Pairings
For their latest venture to benefit Duck student-athletes, Division Street teamed up with GOAT, the leading sneaker marketplace in the world and the global platform for products from the past, present and future.
The offering: 400 numbered pairs of Air Jordan VIII Oregon Player Editions designed by Tinker Hatfield himself.
Comprised of 200 pairs designed and developed for the U of O men’s Basketball program and 200 pairs designed and developed for the women’s basketball program, the exclusive Jordan PEs featured a Ducks-branded chenille patch, suede accents and chromed metallic hardware in two unique colorways: “Gorge Green” and “Pure Platinum.”
As Division St, CEO Rosemary St. Clair pointed out:
Not surprisingly, the auction of the coveted Jordan Player exclusives was a great success, with 22,000 offers being made for the 400 pairs, with proceeds from the sales going to support participating student-athletes across sports programs at U of O.
Eddy Lu, Co-Founder and CEO of GOAT Group had this to say about the partnership with Division Street:
“We’re proud to support student-athletes and play a part in their athletic journey.”
A sentiment echoed by St. Clair as well:
“It was great to partner with GOAT to inspire the next generation while making a positive impact for U of O student-athletes.”
All in all, the collaboration proved to be a happy one, not only for Division Street and GOAT, but for plenty of Ducks as well.
