Division Street’s Ducks of a Feather Brand Unveils Limited Edition Tech Fleece Legacy Apparel Collection Ahead of The Prefontaine Classic
New Collection Inspired by University of Oregon Student-Athletes of the Past Who Have Left Their Unique Legacy on the University
PORTLAND, May 22, 2024 – Division Street’s “Ducks of a Feather,” a new brand featuring original apparel and footwear collaborations that are promoted by and provide revenue opportunities for University of Oregon student-athletes, unveiled today a new Tech Fleece Legacy apparel collection that will be available starting May 24 with proceeds supporting participating U of O student-athletes.
Launching just prior to The Prefontaine Classic, the collection speaks to Oregon athletes of the past who have left their unique legacy on the university while inspiring new athletes and students to create their own legacy in sport, academics and life.
The collection includes a men’s and women’s Tech Fleece Jacket. The men’s concept is called Vintage Duck, while the women’s concept is labeled The Power of Flight.
Vintage Duck pays homage to Oregon marks of the past and present and has a vintage collegiate aesthetic. Color is grounded in black with Oregon green accents and monochromatic treatments. The oversized OREGON on the chest is inspired by the iconic Prefontaine singlet. Overlapping patches and applications feel considered and random simultaneously, as if personalized for the wearer. The racing stripe down the back of the jacket is a nod to collegiate uniforms and evokes racing-stripe-like speed. Embroidered logos, 3D patches, and satin borders create dimension and texture on the garment. The interior of the jacket features a stitched-in, jersey liner with a proud Oregon and DOAF read.
The Power of Flight is inspired by the idea of leaving the nest and starting a new journey to shape the future. The duck in flight is the focal point, flanked by Oregon heritage marks. The color is rooted in tones of grey with highlights of Oregon yellow and golden hues. The oversized duck on the back of the garment is constructed from sheer fabric and embroidered with the duck sketch for a luxury, fashion aesthetic. Texture and layering is achieved with a mix of fabrics and applications. The stripe on the sleeve and back of the garment is a nod to collegiate uniforms. Fabric is stitched onto the garment and appears ribbon-like in application with a feminine, golden tone. The interior of the jacket features a stitched-in, jersey liner. Oversized Oregon and DOAF logos are nestled inside the landscape of a duck in flight.
Ducks of a Feather’s Tech Fleece Legacy Collection will be available for purchase in very limited quantities on May 24 on ducksofafeather.xyz and at The Nest in Eugene, Ore. Product retails for $245 per piece, and proceeds support participating University of Oregon student-athletes.

Division Street to Unveil First NFT NIL Program to Financially Benefit All Participating Women Student-Athletes at a University
Nearing the 50th Anniversary of Title IX, “Visions of Flight” Will Innovate to Benefit the Next Generation of Women Athletes.
Nearing the 50th Anniversary of Title IX, “Visions of Flight” Will Innovate to Benefit the Next Generation of Women Athletes.
Eugene, Ore. (June 22, 2022) – Division Street, a sport venture company that develops creative and effective marketing programs to maximize revenue opportunities for University of Oregon student-athletes, announced today the upcoming launch of “Visions of Flight” – an NFT collection that will benefit all participating Oregon Ducks women student-athletes.
“As the 50th anniversary of Title IX draws near, we were inspired by two trailblazing University of Oregon women – Sabrina Ionescu and Sedona Prince – who regularly use their voices and platforms to shift the landscape of women’s sports,” said Division Street CEO Rosemary St. Clair. “Visions of Flight will enable U of O women student-athletes to express their voices through creative NFT design in partnership with Lili Tae, who is a trailblazer in her own right as an artist. We believe the innovation and community of Web3 will benefit the next generation of women student-athletes.”
Under Division Street’s exclusive Ducks of a Feather NFT platform, the Visions of Flight collection was designed by Lili Tae in collaboration with Sedona Prince and 11 other University of Oregon women athletes -- Briana Chacon (Golf), Jadyn Mays (Track & Field), Harper McClain (Cross Country), Terra McGowan (Softball), Blessyn McMorris (Acrobatics and Tumbling), Allison Mulville (Tennis), Gloria Mutiri (Volleyball), Brooke Nunerviller (Beach Volleyball), Te-Hina Paopao (Basketball), Croix Soto (Soccer), Alyssa Wright (Lacrosse).
“It’s incredibly important to me to use my platform to empower women student-athletes – now and for the next generation,” Prince said. “Being able to collaborate with Lili Tae to bring our voices to life in such an innovative way and benefit all participating women Ducks athletes is an absolute win-win. We couldn’t be more excited about this project.”
Lili Tae provided each athlete with a series of attributes and icons to choose from to express themselves, and used the unique choices and personalities of each athlete to create a 1-of-1 NFT for each of them. All 12 unique NFTs will be scaled through the use of technology to result in a game-changing collection of one-of-a-kind generative NFTs.
“It has been really rewarding to work with Division Street on Visions of Flight, and I am so excited for people to see the art,” Lili Tae said. “I am quite an introverted artist, and my quietness makes me feel like an outsider in even my own community. I get nervous to speak up when it feels like I am being less supported. Seeing Sedona’s video inspired me to remember that it is ok to speak up for yourself and that there are people who will support you. I am happy to be part of a project that spreads this positive message to other women who are facing the same problem.”
The collection bridges sport, art and innovation to create one of the most ambitious sports equity NFT projects ever, allowing buyers to purchase a one-of-a-kind artwork while investing in the equitable futures of student-athletes at the University of Oregon. The NFTs will be blind minted, meaning each of the one-of-a-kind artworks will remain a surprise until minted and deposited in a buyer’s wallet.
Revenue from the sale of Visions of Flight NFTs will be split as follows:
75% shared equally by participating athletes.
25% retained by Division Street to offset the expenses of the project.
Each time a Visions of Flight NFT is resold on a secondary marketplace, a 10% royalty will be directed to a wallet created by Division Street to benefit University of Oregon student-athletes.
The Visions of Flight NFT collection goes on sale June 30 starting at 12 pm PST at ducksofafeather.xyz.
Division Street To Launch Exclusive, Tinker Hatfield-Created NFT Collection To Benefit Oregon Student-Athletes
Division Street’s NFT platform ‘Ducks of a Feather’ will launch with 120 unique, one-of-one NFTs accompanied by a physical pair of special edition Nike Air Max 1
Eugene, Ore. (February 16, 2022) – Division Street, a sport venture company founded by prominent University of Oregon supporters including Phil Knight, is launching “Ducks of a Feather”—a new online NFT platform to empower University of Oregon student-athletes and connect them to fans, boosters and collectors.
The first collection to be featured on Ducks of a Feather is called “Flying Formations” in collaboration with the Oregon football team. Flying Formations is a collection of 120 unique, one-of-one digital art pieces created and serialized by legendary Oregon alum Tinker Hatfield and based on the Oregon Duck. For added value, each NFT from the Flying Formations collection will be accompanied by a hyper-limited special edition Nike Air Max 1 also designed by Hatfield and featuring a representation of the NFT on the shoe’s tongue.
“The Oregon brand has always stood for innovation and been immersed in culture, so it was natural for us to create the first unique online platform dedicated to representing and benefitting student-athletes,” said Division Street CEO Rosemary St. Clair. “We continue to focus on creative and distinct ways for Oregon athletes to monetize their brands, and we think Ducks of a Feather will serve as a long-term platform to do that.”
Flying Formations was inspired by stories of brotherhood from Oregon football players, and created by Hatfield to represent the strength of the team, based on the Oregon Duck. Buyers will receive a one-of-one NFT from the collection which is tied to a Mint Pass granting the owner a pair of the Air Max 1s.
“As a former Oregon student-athlete, I remember clearly the sense of brotherhood that exists within our teams and it was an honor to create a depiction of that brotherhood through the design of Flying Formations,” Hatfield said. “I have such a passion for the school and the athletes, and it’s a dream to work on something unique like this that directly supports them.”
Nearly 70% of revenue from the initial auction of the Flying Formations collection will go to participating football team members, while 10% will go to Division Street to distribute amongst the broader roster of teams. Seven football athletes – Jamal Hill, Noah Sewell, Justin Flowe, Mase Funa, Kris Hutson, TJ Bass and Brandon Dorlus - were contracted to provide specific content for the initiative, and all participating football student-athletes will share revenue equally in exchange for promoting the online auction.
“Knowing that our stories inspired the legend Tinker Hatfield and seeing that inspiration come to life in an NFT collection that supports our team is just incredible,” Hill said. “Oregon is a special place that’s meaningful to each of us individually, but it’s our work together as a team that makes us who we are. We came from all over, with different backgrounds, experiences and circumstances. But once we landed at Oregon, we become family. We can’t wait to share this collection with the world and provide 120 fans with a truly unique experience.”
Flying Formations’ initial auction will take place on Division Street’s DucksOfAFeather.xyz site, while secondary market sales of the NFT can take place on existing NFT marketplaces like OpenSea. Each time an NFT is sold on the secondary market, 10% will go to a Division Street fund that provides support across all U of O athletic programs.
Working with Division Street on the Ducks of a Feather platform and the Flying Formations series is Six21, a startup creating NFT platforms that unite athletes and creators.
Division Street Unveils First-of-its-kind Athlete Storytelling Home on Airbnb
Benefitting Oregon Student-Athletes, the Athlete House Will Feature a Rotation of UO Airbnb Hosts, with Football Star Noah Sewell as the First to Co-Design and List Property for Booking
Eugene, Ore. (November 23, 2021) – Division Street, a sport venture company founded by prominent University of Oregon supporters including Phil Knight, has turned a rental property in Eugene, Ore., into a first-of-its-kind athlete storytelling home to benefit Oregon student-athletes who will host it on Airbnb. The redesigned house will serve not only as a hub for athlete brand development and name, image, likeness (NIL) deal content creation, but also as an actual listing that guests can rent, generating income for Oregon athletes who serve as hosts.
Star linebacker Noah Sewell is the first athlete to host the property, consulting on the design of the house to showcase his life, passions and personality and creating and sharing content to promote the listing and its many unique features. From personal items to new products to special guests, Sewell’s content will showcase the many compelling reasons for fans to book his new listing. Sewell will receive a portion of the revenue generated from stays at the house, which is open for guests to book starting today.
“People who know me best know that I’m all about family,” Sewell said. “As I thought about ways to let fans get to know me better, the idea of a home and all that represents really stuck with me. I had an amazing time working on the design of the house to fill it with things that represent my life, my passions and my love of family. I hope all the guests that come through enjoy the experience staying there as much as I enjoyed designing it.”
The athlete storytelling home doubles-down on Division Street’s commitment to be athlete-first and focus on meaningful brand-building, versus one-off transactions.
“Division Street brings creativity, innovation and an athlete-first mentality to the work of helping student-athletes create and monetize their brands,” said Rosemary St. Clair, CEO of Division Street. “This is a perfect example of that differentiating approach in action. We’re not brokering a one-time endorsement deal for Noah, we’re constructing the building blocks of his brand and creating a lasting revenue pipeline for him and the other Oregon athletes who will follow him.”
The listing is now live here and the house will be available for guests through Jan 31st, 2022.

Prominent Oregon Alumni Launching New Company ‘Division Street’ to Create NIL Opportunities for University of Oregon Athletes
Oregon Donors, Including Phil Knight, Assemble Expert Team to Manage UO Athlete Brands and Partnerships with a Focus on Innovation and Athlete Empowerment
Eugene, Ore. (Sept. 30, 2021) – Several Alumni and prominent Oregon Donors, including Pat Kilkenny, Ed Maletis, Jim Morse, the Papé Family, and NIKE co-founder Phil Knight, announced today the formation of Division Street Associates, LLC, a sport venture that will supercharge name, image, and likeness (NIL) opportunities for University of Oregon athletes. The company seeks to help student-athletes create and monetize their brands in a way that enables them to focus on the two most important parts of their collegiate journey — academics and sport.
Leading the effort for Division Street will be Rosemary St. Clair, former VP and GM of NIKE Women, who will serve as CEO. Rudy Chapa, former VP of Sports Marketing at NIKE, will be Chairman of the Board.
“Division Street has put together an extremely capable group to deal with the fast-changing landscape of NIL,” Knight said. “Led by Rosemary and Rudy, I am confident they will bring innovation and creativity to this new world.”
“Division Street’s founding strength is the Oregon brand itself, which has always been about innovation, audacity and culture,” St. Clair said. “Our goal in this chaotic new world of NIL marketing is to elevate the athlete experience by bringing in leading expertise across brand, marketing, sponsorship, digital and creative to support all University of Oregon student-athletes, inclusive of every sport and across gender.”
Among the elite team working with Division Street will be Adopt, a minority-owned brand and creative company focused on athletes and sport recently co-founded by Klutch Sports Group founder and CEO Rich Paul. Adopt co-founders and former NIKE and Jordan Brand executives Nicole Graham, David Creech and Josh Moore will bring decades of brand, marketing, creative and digital experience to Division Street’s portfolio, and Adopt has enlisted former Oregon wide receiver and Jordan Brand executive Garren Strong to join the squad.
To add athlete firepower to the team, Division Street has partnered with former Oregon superstar Sabrina Ionescu to serve as Chief Athlete Officer for the company. In this role, Ionescu – one of the most decorated athletes in college basketball history and the No. 1 pick of the 2020 WNBA Draft – will serve as a senior adviser to the Division Street team to ensure the voice of the athlete is at the center of all the company’s work, and she will host quarterly seminars with Oregon student-athletes to share her counsel and experiences as a high-profile athlete with a growing portfolio of top-tier partnerships.
“As an athlete navigating the world of brand and partnerships myself, I see a real opportunity to provide today’s college players more professional counsel as they grapple with the new NIL landscape,” Ionescu said. “I’m excited that Division Street also sees that need and is bringing together an all-star team to address this for Oregon. I’m also very passionate about ensuring diversity in gender and sport, and that will be part of my focus in this new role.”
Finally, Division Street is excited to collaborate with the University of Oregon’s world-renowned Warsaw Sports Marketing Center and School of Journalism and Communication, as part of the Sport and Wellness Initiative, and their newly formed Oregon Accelerator, a first-of-its-kind, full-service, student-led marketing and branding collective that will focus on maximizing the name, image and likeness earning potential for the University of Oregon’s 500+ student-athletes.
