Division Street, Opendorse to Launch New Marketplace to Elevate NIL Experience for Oregon Athletes

First-of-its-kind marketplace will provide a compliant experience for brands and supporters to book partnerships with University of Oregon athletes

EUGENE, OR (November 16, 2021) – Division Street and Opendorse today announced the coming launch of the Official NIL Marketplace of the Oregon Ducks. The first curated marketplace of its kind in college sports, the solution will empower Oregon athletes to connect with supporters and facilitate NIL partnerships via a curated one-app experience.

The Opendorse-powered marketplace will be used by supporters to connect with University of Oregon athletes to book appearances, autograph sessions, video shoutouts, social media content, and more.

“Division Street’s goal is to deliver elevated opportunities for all athletes across sport and gender,” said Division Street CEO Rosemary St. Clair. “We’re built to serve student-athletes, so leveraging the Opendorse platform to simplify the NIL experience for Oregon was a natural step.”

The marketplace dedicated to University of Oregon athletes is set to launch in the first quarter of 2022 at oregon.opendorse.com. In the meantime, Division Street will use Opendorse to provide a streamlined experience for brands to coordinate and facilitate partnerships with Oregon student-athletes. Together, Division Street and Opendorse are uniquely positioned to lead in sports technology, the same way that Oregon has long blazed a trail in leading athlete innovation.

“This partnership raises the bar for NIL innovation in college sports,” said Opendorse CEO Blake Lawrence. “The NIL Marketplace will make it easier than ever before for Oregon student-athletes and supporters to connect and complete deals in a singular place built specifically for their needs. Division Street is delivering real leadership in its support of student-athletes and I’m proud that Opendorse can provide the technology to bring this to life.”

“This is an incredibly useful platform for Oregon athletes,” said Oregon volleyball player Gloria Mutiri. “Opendorse gives us one app to access all-things NIL. In my first three months using Opendorse, I’ve already seen tremendous value in the platform.”
