Division Street Unveils First-of-its-kind Athlete Storytelling Home on Airbnb

Benefitting Oregon Student-Athletes, the Athlete House Will Feature a Rotation of UO Airbnb Hosts, with Football Star Noah Sewell as the First to Co-Design and List Property for Booking

Eugene, Ore. (November 23, 2021) – Division Street, a sport venture company founded by prominent University of Oregon supporters including Phil Knight, has turned a rental property in Eugene, Ore., into a first-of-its-kind athlete storytelling home to benefit Oregon student-athletes who will host it on Airbnb. The redesigned house will serve not only as a hub for athlete brand development and name, image, likeness (NIL) deal content creation, but also as an actual listing that guests can rent, generating income for Oregon athletes who serve as hosts.

Star linebacker Noah Sewell is the first athlete to host the property, consulting on the design of the house to showcase his life, passions and personality and creating and sharing content to promote the listing and its many unique features. From personal items to new products to special guests, Sewell’s content will showcase the many compelling reasons for fans to book his new listing. Sewell will receive a portion of the revenue generated from stays at the house, which is open for guests to book starting today.

“People who know me best know that I’m all about family,” Sewell said. “As I thought about ways to let fans get to know me better, the idea of a home and all that represents really stuck with me. I had an amazing time working on the design of the house to fill it with things that represent my life, my passions and my love of family. I hope all the guests that come through enjoy the experience staying there as much as I enjoyed designing it.”

The athlete storytelling home doubles-down on Division Street’s commitment to be athlete-first and focus on meaningful brand-building, versus one-off transactions.

“Division Street brings creativity, innovation and an athlete-first mentality to the work of helping student-athletes create and monetize their brands,” said Rosemary St. Clair, CEO of Division Street. “This is a perfect example of that differentiating approach in action. We’re not brokering a one-time endorsement deal for Noah, we’re constructing the building blocks of his brand and creating a lasting revenue pipeline for him and the other Oregon athletes who will follow him.”

The listing is now live here and the house will be available for guests through Jan 31st, 2022.
